Gorgeous but serious design issues

"I had this soap dish installed a year ago, April 2025. It immediately fell off and the small metal bracket broke into. The repairs done by contractor seem to have fixed it. Yesterday, it broke off again, without anyone touching it. I ordered a new one. The contractor came back to install it today. As he attempted to affix it back onto the wall, the dish part began to separate from the wall section. It is glued together, for now, and taped up, but I think it is very poorly designed. It needs some screws from the back, coming into the dish section to secure it. I wish someone could help me."

A bit disappointed. This is

"A bit disappointed. This is my third one. The first one arrived broken. The company promptly mailed out a new one after sending them pictures. I built a custom tiled shower and installed the new soap dish. Looked really nice. Was up for almost a year and then I reached for the soap and apparently leaned my hand on it and it came apart where the dish was attached to the back part. Luckily it did not damage my tiled floor. The small metal piece that attached the two pieces was wimpy and gave way along with whatever they used to adhere the pieces together. Well after buying a new one and a few hours removing the piece left on the wall trying not to damage any tile around it I got the new one installed. The drain holes were not lined up, scratches were on it and all I really cared at this point was I hoped it would not fail again because I am left with few options. I will not put another one in if this one fails. I would prefer that they built them better and had better quality control and charged more. Yes, I broke it but it needs to be built better. Could really hurt if it fell on some ones foot."
