Travertine Tile, Mosaics and Trim
Travertine is a natural limestone formed around mineral springs, which gives it its signature pitted texture and warm, earthy color. It has been used in floors and walls for thousands of years and remains one of the most versatile natural stones. Most of our travertine comes from Turkey, with Durango from Mexico.
Colors
Choose from Ivory (light cream), Durango Cream (soft beige), Noce (warm brown), Walnut (deep brown), Scabos (multi-tone), Gold, Philadelphia, Silver and more.
Finishes and sizes
Filled and honed is smooth and matte. Filled and polished adds shine. Tumbled softens edges for a rustic look, and split-face gives a rough, 3D texture for accent walls. Brushed and unfilled leaves the natural pores open. Sizes range from 1x1 mosaics and 3x6 subway tile to 18x18, 12x24 and 24x24, plus French pattern sets and matching bullnose, pencil liners and chair rails.

Floors, showers, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds and, in suitable finishes, patios and pool decks.
Price range
Most travertine field tile runs about $6 to $17 per sq ft.
Care
Seal after installation, and before grouting on tumbled and split-face tile. Reseal periodically, and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid vinegar and citrus cleaners.
